This project was the fit-out of a new build unit at Bluewater as a Showcase de Lux. We installed four screens, with a foyer, toilets and concessions.
The project included three regular screens, as well as an XPlus screen. XPlus features a giant wall to wall screen, with next generation projection giving crystal clear definition to provide the best picture in either 2D or 3D; and a Dolby Atmos sound system.
A key challenge to this project was that the building did not have sufficient power whilst we were undertaking the fit-out. As a result we could not commission the plant and equipment until the last minute prior to hand-over. Despite this challenge, we delivered the project within its 11 week programme and to budget.
