We refurbished Genting Casino Cromwell Mint, which included rebranding the casino to Forty Five Kensington. The new cosmopolitan venue combines world class gaming and a first class dining experience in the heart of South Kensington.
The property, located at 45 Cromwell Road, which initially opened for business in the early 1960s as the ’45 Club, received a complete makeover. The gaming area was upgraded with the addition of a new private gaming room. We also updated the bar and restaurant areas, to include warm lighting throughout, creating a relaxing environment for customers away from the gaming floor.
We increased the size of the electronic gaming area, to accommodate more electronic gaming tables. Meanwhile, the main gaming floor has undergone significant upgrades.
The overall construction programme was 14 weeks over three phases, with the Casino remaining fully operational throughout the works. We carefully planned the works and worked extended hours to minimise the noise and disruption to guests, staff and neighbours.
As the project was in South Kensington, opposite the Natural History Museum, access to site and deliveries were problematic. Access was restricted to early morning deliveries, with wait-and-load facilities for the removal of waste and debris from the site.
