Formed in 1898, Rimowa provides luxury luggage for the discerning traveller, as well as cases for the sensitive equipment used by film crews, photographers and reporters.
We were engaged to refurbish their flagship store on the fashionable New Bond Street, London, working closely with the client’s architects who are based in Barcelona. The programme was incredibly tight – just three weeks to deliver a high-end, contemporary and luxury feel to the store. New Bond Street is a busy street, and the store is surrounded by other high-end retailers. This created difficulties with access during the day. We therefore undertook the work out of hours to minimise disruption to the neighbours and pedestrians.
