Nicky Frost, who works in our Accounts Team, has completed a 26 mile walk, Trek 26, in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Nicky and her partner, James, signed up to Trek 26 towards the end of 2021. Since then the couple have undertaken training walks most weekends, but the furthest they had walked prior to the event was 23 miles.
Trek 26 is a national event, with different walks taking place throughout the country on different dates. Nicky and James took part in the Peak District Trek, which started and finished at Bakewell Showground on Saturday 13th August 2022, one of the hottest days of 2022! Nicky enjoyed the day so much, that she has signed up again next year – but this time as a volunteer!
