Specialist fit-out contractors, G F Holding has completed the first ScreenX in the UK for Cineworld.
ScreenX is the world’s first multi-projection system used within a theatre setting. It was created as one of the ‘next cinema formats’ along with 4DX, the multi-sensory cinema technology with motion and environmental effects. It is the world’s first multi-projection theatre technology that provides movie-goers with a 270-degree panoramic viewing experience by expanding the screen onto the side walls of the auditorium. It crafts a fully immersive experience that pulls you into the world of your favourite films like nothing before.
ScreenX launched in two sites in the UK at the end of August – Cineworld The O2 in London and at the brand new Cineworld Speke.
